(More customer reviews)The sole purpose of this hard drive was to rip copies of all of my CD's onto it, plug it into my PC at work, and enjoy my music (using Windows Media Player). I was a bit worried that it wouldn't have room for all 350+ CD's but I now see how ridiculous that worry was. Even at a 160Kbps rip rate (2nd highest for better quality), my 350+ CD's are only taking up 13GB on this 320 GB drive. Installation was a piece of cake -- one end of the supplied cable plugs into the drive and the other end plugs into your USB port. My Windows XP Dell desktop instantly recognized it. (Note: The cable that comes with this drive actually has two USB plugs, presumably for older laptops where one USB port might not provide enough power to run the drive.) I've given this drive 5 stars for durability since I've carried it back and forth between home and office several times and he's still working like a champ. That said, I've ordered a hard case for him so he'll be more protected on future trips home and back. All in all, I'd say this was a great LITTLE hard drive drive for the money and TigerDirect always does a good job with their packaging and shipping. ("Little" being the operative word - it's about the size of a deck of cards but not nearly as thick.)
