(More customer reviews)I got this to replace the horribly slow 16GB SSD that comes default in the HP Mini 1030NR. After spending $100 in this SSD, I realized that this one was no better! When using Windows, the system momentarily pauses anywhere between 1 second to 5 seconds. If you're using the laptop to play movies, or browse web sites, it becomes very infuriating, like hiccups.
The system becomes unusable if something tries to write lots of changes to SSD, for example the system becomes horribly slow with the hiccups during Windows Update.
I spent another $100, and I got a Sandisk 32GB SSD, it is MUCH better. There is no longer any hiccuping - at all. The system runs more reliably, I can use the computer for a lot more without worrying about sending it into a hiccup spiral of hell. So, do yourself a favor, don't get the SaberTooth Z 32GB (and something tells me that the 16GB is just as bad.)
