(More customer reviews)This little cheap thing does what it was intended to do. But it does feel exceedingly cheap. I took mine apart and just used the circuit board. I don't see a lot of need for the external case unless you plan to make a portable disc from an iPod hard drive or something. But if you do that, you'd want something that's not so cheap. In my case, I just wanted to get some files of the only laptop HD I had.
