(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my boyfriend's laptop after my cat chewed the original power adapter for it. It worked fine for about 6 months.
The day before we were to depart on a trip to Vietnam, the power dapter failed. I didn't have time to deal with Kensington, and it was too late to return it to the store, so I did something admittedly unethical - I went back to the store where I bought it, purchased another one, and returned the failed adapter, since the box didn't have the serial number.
The second adapter worked OK, but only for about 8 months. I haven't bothered getting it fixed yet. I would suggest you don't waste your time with this one.
