(More customer reviews)The drive works as it is designed. One reviewer was upset that files larger than 4gb are "too big" but that is because of the file system and has nothing to do with the drive.
Fat32 works well on these devices because it is platform independent, mac and windows can both read and write with it but sadly it has file size restrictions
If you need to transfer files over 4gb in size then you should reformat the device to either NTFS(windows) or GUID(intel Mac)
Or grow a brain and create a .zip or .rar archive that is divided in to pieces smaller than 4gb in size.
