(More customer reviews)Excellent option for the money! Don't need to buy the more expensive options. If you have an older ATA/IDE drive. I used this to recover a friend's laptop drive, that would not boot. At first, the drive was recognized, automatically, by XP, but I could not view all the folders.
A chkdsk /f took care of the errors, and I was able to view all the folders. Copied a backup to another drive, put the drive back in the laptop, and it booted just fine. BB geeks estimated 600 bucks for repairs.
I did it for about 12!
