(More customer reviews)I have owned external hard drives from SeaGate, Buffalo and Western Digital. I like the Oyen Digital line because they are slimmer, lighter and seemingly quicker. I can't cite any benchmark test results, but I move a lot of media files like music, video & photos and these OyenDigital drives have been very reliable. I've never experienced any file/data corruption. The form factor, while plain, is sleek. The included leather case is nice touch that other companies charge extra $$$. Even though it states 750GB, the real usable storage is actually: 698GB (this is one of life's great mysteries?) maybe someday, somebody can explain to me what ahppens to the other 52GB...? I dunno.
As of this writing (July 23, 2010)...the USB 2.0 format is being supplanted by the forthcoming USB 3.0. Any potential readers might want to wait a bit for this price to plummet, as it inevitably will. Or, just wait and buy a USb 3.0 drive
